Social work lunches are an interesting challenge in the framework of my new diet. I haven’t really started with the part-time veganism yet, but I’ve been thinking a lot about the principles behind it. So, I ordered Pad Thai with tofu instead of chicken today. Not sure how healthy the noodles were, but it’s a step in the right direction. Yay tofu!
I also scored points for dragging myself to the gym today even though I didn’t want to go. From there, it was quick shower, smoothie, and then off to the nearby Episcopalian church study/discussion/fellowship. We talked a lot about community and what that means today and why we crave it. I think maybe there is another blog resolution in there somewhere, but right now I’m ready to collapse.
