I’ve been mulling about this blog. Unfortunately, posting a daily gratitude note is more challenging that I anticipated. I get weary of it. It gets harder to stay positive, grateful, and content.
But I wonder if I should be more proactive. Exercise is making me feel good. Really, really good. Maybe I should commit to other activities that make me feel good, instead of anxious and tired? Maybe that would be more effective than just thinking “I should be grateful, I should be content”? The brain is a powerful thing. I want to train my brain to think better, kinder thoughts. But I’ve also found that sometimes you have to act the way you want to feel. So maybe it’s time to take some action?
